Fantastic Place

The food was lovely and we were made to feel so welcome. We shared a Bruschetta Classica to start, both had the Merluzzo Vito (cod in a creamy sauce) with roasted vegetables for main, and panna cotta for dessert. The tomatoes and garlic were super fresh and tasty, the cod was perfectly cooked and it and the vegetables arrived super hot - so straight from the pan.

Wonderful! The panna cotta just melted in your mouth. And the coffee was excellent too. This was our first visit and although it's so far from home (4 hour round trip!), I'm sure we'll be back again.

WOW - what a lovely restaurant to visit. We visited for the first time recently and we received the most lovely warm welcome which you don't always receive in a restaurant. The menu choice is excellent with a nice variety of dishes to choose from. We really enjoyed our starters and mains which were so tasty. Will be visiting again very soon.

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years and it is the best AUTHENTIC Italian restaurant in the UK I have ever stepped foot in.

My friends and I came to the restaurant to celebrate my birthday. My friend ordered the spaghetti carbonara and I had the penne amatriciana. My friend wanted to personally thank the chef on how the carbonara made her feel as though she was eating in Rome again.

I feel as though previous reviews need to understand the difference between an authentic Italian restaurant and an Anglo-Italian restaurant. Yes, we all have different taste buds, but don’t expect an authentic restaurant to cater for your Anglo-Italian needs as there IS a big difference.

Absolutely wonderful food, such good pasta, with simple but beautiful flavours. The portion sizes are great, the garlic bread with chilli and cheese is something I’d heavily recommend The service was great, and there’s street parking nearby as well

Vito’s Italian Restaurant is always our first option for a good meal and a good time. The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is cosy.
